appsense
In addition to improvements in printing functionality; Citrix Presentation Server 4 also introduced CPU and memory optimisation. For a large number of our clients, this level of optimisation is sufficient, however where particular applications (or users!) require finer control over their resource utilisation; AppSense Performance Manager is usually deployed.

bandwidth management
Organisations are making increasing use of the Internet; with VPN, business-to-business and email push technology adding to already crowded bandwidth. The ability to manage available bandwidth effectively, ensuring that priority is given to business critical applications, is becoming an essential part of IT manager’s tool kit. This need is particularly acute when real-time, mission critical applications require guaranteed bandwidth.
To ensure that remote users receive the bandwidth they need to provide an acceptable experience on lines already crowded with internet browsing, mail traffic, business-to-business communications and a raft of other traffic; we can deploy ‘packet shaping’ technology. uniprint print management
Whilst printing improved greatly with the release of Citrix Presentation Server 4, in terms of functionality; printing to remote locations can still cause issues with regards to bandwidth.
Where this has been of concern to our clients, we have deployed the UniPrint print management solution. UniPrint considerably reduces the bandwidth required to pass print jobs from terminal servers to client printers.
