Citrix XenApp 5
Citrix Systems have, for many, defined server based computing with Citrix Presentation server. In 2008, they announced the renaming of this product to Citrix xenApp. This saw the re-alignment of the XenApp product as part of the Citrix Delivery Center product range, where it sits as part of their end-to-end application delivery product strategy.
The release of Citrix XenApp 5 in september adds a range of performance and functional enhancements to this already feature-rich desktop and application delivery solution. Citrix' close collaboration with Microsoft has allowed Citrix XenApp 5 to leverage many of the new features of Microsoft's Windows Server 2008 platform.
